🎠Mickey on Stage! A Bandstand Card Using the Notes & Totes Bundle
For this week’s YouTube Live, I shared a totally different way to use the Notes & Totes Bundle (available 5/6/25)—and it just might be one of my favorite creative twists yet! I turned the tote die into a stage curtain to create a magical Mickey-inspired bandstand card, perfect for Disney fans or anyone who loves a good show. 🎬✨
🎟️ The Magic Behind the Mickey Bandstand Card
While prepping cardstock supplies for the May Sweet Creations Club kits, I accidentally flipped the bench fold card upside down. It looked like a beach changing station or theater stage. That’s when the idea hit me: use the tote die to turn it into a theater curtain!
This card gives total Disney stage show vibes, complete with:
- Tote die piece used as red curtains, drawn open for the big performance 🎪
- A Mickey head silhouette as the star of the show
- Bright red, black, and yellow colors to match that iconic Disney look
It’s whimsical, dimensional, and just plain fun—perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or even a keepsake card from a Disney vacation.

I love showing how a single die can do so much more than you might expect. The Notes & Totes tote die was designed for 3D projects, but with a little imagination, it became the curtain for an adorable stage scene!
