This weekend I’m working on sample projects for my April card class. I must admit bold and photo prints intimidate me…I’m still learning how to work with them and not overpower the card, so I tend to avoid this kind of paper.
However, since I received the Petal Promenade and Delightfully Detailed DSP as free Sale-a-Bration items, I challenged myself to use this paper. I’m very pleased with my initial results. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
To create the lace ribbon band, I cut one of the strips of Delightfully Detailed Specialty Paper in half and adhered it to a background strip of Pear Pizzazz cardstock.
The flowers were created using the Four-Petal Flower punch in alternating Flirty Flamingo and Calypso Coral cardstock, 1/2″ Circle punch in Very Vanilla cardstock, and small die cut flowers from the Detailed Deer thinlets (currently on carryover from the 2018 Holiday catalog)) in Pear Pizzazz cardstock.
