Last week I shared a quick behind the scenes of my craft space. It may not look like it, but I do love to buy and play with different Stampin’ Up! products throughout the year. After a while, I move them to my sell or donation box for someone else to enjoy. Why, you ask? In observing my family’s purchases for their video games, I realized they simply enjoyed the entertainment value of their games. This changed my perspective for my crafting supplies…I now view them as entertainment rather than an “investment”. I just now budget my crafting entertainment like I would any other household expense. This change has freed me to enjoy my stamping purchases and not feel overwhelmed by them.
For this week’s project, I tried to step back to the days when I first started stamping and had only stamps, ink, and paper (S.I.P.) to make this simple card using the Seas the Day stamp set. I also shared a quick watercolor wash technique for a unique addition to the project.
