One of this month’s Stampin’ Bunco projects is a Valentine’s card, featuring the Meant to Be stamp set and From the Heart Designer Series Paper (DSP).
By combining the Meant to Be stamp set and coordinating Stitched Be Mine (heart) dies with the new From My Heart DSP and Stitched So Sweetly dies, I was able to create this sweet and simple card.
I love the simplicity of colors in the DSP, making coordination easy.
Just a few simple hearts stamped with coordinating colors adds some fun to the inside of the card.
The “From My Heart” DSP has so many great Valentine’s patterns with several sheets having fun foil accents.
“Make It” Instructions
- Score and fold a 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” piece of Lovely Lipstick cardstock for card base.
- Emboss a 4” x 5-1/4” piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock with Subtle Embossing Folder. Adhere layer to card front.
- Cut a 2” x 5” strip of striped paper of From the Heart DSP. Notch one end with Triple Banner Punch. Adhere toward left of card.
- Die cut a medium scalloped rectangle with Stitched So Sweetly dies (3rd largest) in Whisper White cardstock.
- Stamp (Black Memento ink) “Happy Valentine’s Day” sentiment from Meant to Be stamp set on right side of rectangle.
- Adhere rectangle on card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, overlapping DSP banner.
- Die cut a medium stitched heart from Stitched Be Mine dies in printed heart paper of From the Heart DSP. Adhere at angle to left of rectangle.
- Die cut a small scalloped heart from Stitched Be Mine dies in Flirty Flamingo cardstock. Adhere at angle to lower right of DSP heart with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
- Embellish small heart with a Rhinestone.
- Stamp a striped heart (Flirty Flamingo) and randomly small hearts (Lovely Lipstick) from Meant to Be stamp set on a 4” x 5-1/4” piece of Whisper White cardstock. Adhere inside card.
